The journey to Kenya’s independence often discusses the six men who were accused of being part of the Mau Mau resistance against colonial rule. Their case was taken to trial in northern Kenya and the defense team was a mix of lawyers from across the world. Head counsel was an Englishman Dennis Pritt, who Mzee Jomo Kenyatta honoured by naming one of Nairobi’s roads after him.
