‘When you do not look after a small wound, it becomes a gangrene.’ This Kamba proverb advises us to fix issues as soon as they crop up so that they don’t get out of hand with time. Just like a small wound is easy to care for and heal, a problem is easier to deal with and find a solution for during its early stages.
