Did you know that Samburu women trek towards the sacred Mount Oloolookwea which refers to the ‘flat topped mountain’ to pray for rains during prolonged drought? Once at Oloolookwea, the women pray to Enkai to bring them rain. The monolithic stone mountain stands tall over the Samburu region and is visible from miles away – proof of God’s providence.
